Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dicey Together (“we”, “us”), a small studio based in Istanbul, Türkiye, handles information in two places: our website, diceytogether.app, and Dicey Together Studio, the publishing tool we registered on Pinterest’s developer platform (where it’s listed as “Studio Dicey Together”) and use to post Pip & Dot on our own social accounts. Questions about it: hello@diceytogether.app.
1. Our websites, diceytogether.app and links.diceytogether.app
Both sites have a form to write to us, and the link page also lets you leave your email to hear our news first. We only collect what you choose to send us:
- your name and email address, when you write to us,
- what your message is about, and the message itself,
- your email address, if you ask to hear our news first,
- the country your connection comes from, as our host reports it (not your exact location).
We use these only to answer you, or to send the news you asked for. The sites have no accounts and no ads.
To know how many people visit, what they read and which links they tap, we count visits ourselves, without cookies: each visitor gets a tag that changes every day and can’t be traced back to them, with the country, the site they came from, whether it’s a phone or a computer, the links and stickers they tap, where on the page they tap (a spot within a part of the page, for our heatmap) and how far down they scroll. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views the same way. Neither keeps your IP address or can recognise you across sites or from one day to the next.
Cookies and analytics (only with your OK)
When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Microsoft Clarity. Only if you say yes does it load: it shows us where people tap and click, how far they scroll, and recordings of visits, with anything typed into forms hidden, so we can see what works and make the page better. Clarity sets its own cookies for this (such as _clck and _clsk, kept for up to a year) and processes the data for us under Microsoft’s privacy statement. Ads are never allowed. If you say no, nothing loads. You can change your answer at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page; taking a yes back stops Clarity and clears its cookies.
The site also keeps a few small settings in your browser (not cookies): your cookie answer, light or dark, sound on or off, your accessibility settings (less motion, contrast, letters, the cats), the order you last saw our most watched reels in, and the secrets you’ve found with Pip & Dot.
2. Dicey Together Studio, our publishing tool
Dicey Together Studio is an internal tool used only by our studio. It is not offered to anyone else, and nobody outside the studio signs in to it. It runs on our own computer (it is built on Postiz, an open-source scheduler) and connects to our own accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest through each platform’s official API and sign-in (OAuth). We use it to:
- see our own boards, playlists and pages, so we can choose where a post goes,
- publish our own content on a schedule: reels, video and image Pins and posts, with their covers, titles, descriptions and links to diceytogether.app,
- read our own posts’ and account’s numbers (views, impressions, likes, saves, shares, clicks and comment counts) for our weekly report on what to make next.
It does not read, collect or store anyone else’s accounts, Pins, boards, followers or messages, and it doesn’t follow, comment or message automatically.
3. Pinterest data
Dicey Together Studio connects to one Pinterest account, our own business account @diceytogether, with these permissions:
- boards:read and boards:write: to list our boards and create boards for our series,
- pins:read and pins:write: to create our own Pins and read them back,
- user_accounts:read: to read our account’s profile and analytics.
Where it’s kept: the access token Pinterest issues, the IDs of our boards and Pins, and our Pins’ analytics are stored only in the tool’s database on our own computer. They are never shared, sold, used for advertising, or used to train any model.
How long: the token is kept until we disconnect the account or Pinterest revokes it; our Pins’ numbers are kept as totals in our own reports. We follow Pinterest’s Developer Guidelines and API terms.
Removing it: the account can be disconnected at any time in the tool, or in Pinterest under Settings → Security and logins → Apps, which revokes the token so it stops working; we then remove it from the tool too. You can also ask us at hello@diceytogether.app.
4. Who else handles information
- Vercel hosts the website, keeps short technical logs as any web host does, and counts visits without cookies (Web Analytics).
- Discord carries the contact forms’ messages to our private inbox.
- Supabase holds the link page’s messages and news sign-ups and our visit counts, in a database only we can reach.
- Our email is handled by Cloudflare (receiving), Google (the mailbox) and Resend (sending).
- Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest receive what we publish there, under their own privacy policies.
- Microsoft (Clarity) processes how the page is used, only for visitors who said yes on the cookie banner.
We never sell personal information or share it with anyone for marketing.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up on what you asked. Ask us and we’ll delete yours.
6. Security
Access tokens stay in the tool’s database on our own computer, and contact messages in our private inbox. Only our studio has access to them.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@diceytogether.app. We’ll answer within 30 days.
8. Children
The site is for a general audience. Please don’t send us a message if you’re under 13.
9. Changes
If this Privacy Policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
